Patrick G. I would remind folks that the logging industry didn't used to replant forests - it was required to by environmentalists and they then discovered that it was also good for thier business. Also, not all trees regrow quickly. Redwoods take a hundred or more years to mature.


Denny Anonymous, nothing happens. Trees keep on growing until they get sick, get hit by Lightning, get cut down or die of old Age..
A lot of Trees get replanted each year here in the U.S.. Replenishable resource that has been refined to endure a lot and grow much faster than 30 years ago..



Anonymous Agreed. Global warming is a dangerous hoax. Another one that annoys me is the "save paper" crowd. Why? Paper comes from renewable forest growth ussually pine. If we don't use paper what happens to those forests?

Patrick G. That is a nice article Denny. I would have preferred more quantitative references to a study that shows water is as the primary greenhouse gas. I also would have preferred actual data from ice cores indicating the CO2 peaks rather than just talking about how given moisture and cycles and ice core data humans aren't causing global warming. I also believe the author to be in error when he says most heat is lost from the poles - you have to have it to lose it. Nonetheless, a very decent article.


Anna I am looking for a fact-based article (without emotional.opinionated language) illustrating the non-existence of global warming. Any suggestions?

What I do know is Climate Changes every day, ever week, every Month, ever Year. Cycles occur every Millenium as do Cycles in Hundred Million Years. Sometimes these Cycles are not good. Mother Nature does find some balance though. Weather is never perfect.

For you to say what is happening in the Future is based on Computer Models, is totally Ludicus...If these Computers are so accurate, why aren't they used in regular Weather Forcasts up to weeks and months in advance??

It is because they Can't. There is too much to learn and consider in the Equation....

Patrick G. Denial is normal and simple. If you had real proof of the "hoax" it would not focus on name-calling. It would be long and detailed and none would read it b/c they don't have the attention span. Denial is simple - just perfect for some people.
